From My Kitchen to Yours
izzcookinglab started from something very simple. It is the way I’ve always cooked for the people I love.
I grew up watching my late grandma cook, and she taught me something that has stayed with me ever since: food is one of the simplest ways we show love.
Today, I carry that with me in my own kitchen, cooking and baking for my three boys.
Nothing goes into my cakes that I wouldn’t put on my own family’s table.
The banana cake you receive is the same cake I bake for them at home.
That’s why the ingredient list is short. It’s also why I choose good butter, good chocolate, local bananas and ingredients that sometimes cost more than they need to. I’d rather keep things simple and make them well.
What began as something I baked for my family has slowly found its way onto more and more tables.
And I think my grandma would have understood that perfectly.
Cooking is love. I’m simply passing it on.
